I've come to believe that movement is life; and the spirit of life moves through us.  When we move in a non-linear way, aka: dance we get to feel ourselves and tap into an intelligence and wisdom that lives in the body.  Dance gives us a break from our intellect; and offers us access to our emotions as we feel them, not as we think them.
